How CLASHPAIR works

Your favorite rivals, paired as tokens. Pick your side. Everything below describes what the site and the chain actually do.

The idea

People pick sides long before they open a wallet. One fan grew up with Ronaldo, another with Messi, and a single match can restart an argument that has run for years. CLASHPAIR puts that rivalry into a market: each side is a token you can own, both sides meet in one pair, and one chart shows how they move against each other.

Picture two kinds of trading cards, A and B, and a trading post that holds both. You hand over B cards to get A cards, or the other way around, and the rate follows the trades. If 1 A trades for 1 B today and for 2 B tomorrow, A strengthened against B. If it later trades for 0.5 B, B strengthened against A.

Buying A gives you A tokens and nothing else: not both tokens, not a share in a person or a club, not their income, not a short position on B, and no winner payout when a match ends. Fans who never trade do not move the price; trades and liquidity do. Goals, trophies and releases can bring people back to trade, but no rule moves the price because of them.

Names on CLASHPAIR are community rivalry tokens. They are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any person, team or brand they name.

Reading the chart

Every clash has one main chart: the price of side A measured in side B.

A = the token whose price is shown (base)
B = the unit it is priced in (quote)
p = how many B one A buys, shown as "1 CR7 = 2 MESSI"
p movesMeaning
1 to 2A strengthened 100% against B over that interval
1 to 0.5A weakened 50% against B: B strengthened against A
2 stays 2the exchange rate did not change; both dollar prices may still have moved

The Flip button shows the same pool the other way round: p becomes 1/p. If 1 CR7 = 0.5 MESSI, then 1 MESSI = 2 CR7. Flipping creates no new pool. For candles: open becomes 1/open, close 1/close, high 1/low and low 1/high. Volume is never inverted: it switches to the other token's units (B normally, A when flipped).

Relative is not dollars. Suppose A falls from $1 to $0.50 and B from $100 to $90. A in B falls from 0.01 to about 0.00556: both sides lost dollar value, and B still strengthened against A. A side strengthening against the other is not a dollar profit. When the site shows dollar prices, it says so, and names the source and the time of the SOL/USD price.

A ratio above 1 does not mean a side "won" since launch: the two sides start at different prices on purpose (see curves below). CLASHPAIR shows no dominance scores and no "who is the GOAT" labels: a claim about performance always names its interval.

How a clash works

A clash is two tokens and two pools on Meteora:

Entry pool: side B ↔ SOL (Meteora bonding curve, then DAMM v2)
Rivalry pool: side A ↔ side B (Meteora bonding curve, then DAMM v2)

SOL enters every clash through side B. That gives side B a second role: it is both a side of the rivalry and the bridge to SOL.

You want toRoutePools
Buy side A with SOLSOL → B → Aboth, one transaction
Buy side B with SOLSOL → Bentry
Switch A to B, or B to AA ↔ Brivalry
Sell side A for SOLA → B → SOLboth, one transaction
Sell side B for SOLB → SOLentry

What moves the main chart: only trades on the rivalry pool. Buying A (with B, or with SOL through B) pushes A in B up; selling A or switching A to B pushes it down. Buying B with SOL does not touch the rivalry pool, so it raises B (and A with it) against SOL without moving A in B. The two-pool routes pay the fee of each pool they cross.

The site builds these routes itself with Meteora's instructions, so every trade goes through the clash's own pools, and the quote you see is the transaction you sign. It does not depend on an aggregator having indexed a new pool.

Creating a clash

The create page asks for a title, a category, both names and tickers and both logos. The logos and each token's metadata are pinned to IPFS first, because each token is created with immutable metadata: its link can never change. Then you sign three transactions in one wallet prompt, sent in order:

  1. Side B on its SOL curve, with your optional first buy of side B.
  2. The rivalry curve's config, priced in side B (one config per clash, because its quote token is that clash's side B).
  3. Side A on the rivalry curve, with your optional first buy of side A, paid with part of the side B from step 1.

First buys made inside these transactions pay the minimum fee instead of the anti-sniper fee of the first minute. Rent for two tokens, two pools and one config is about 0.06 SOL, plus network fees. If step 1 lands and step 3 does not, the create page offers to finish the launch: it creates side A against the side B that already exists.

Both tokens are standard SPL tokens with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 and 6 decimals. Meteora creates them with no mint authority (nobody can mint more), no freeze authority (no account can be frozen) and immutable metadata. Each clash page shows these facts read from the chain.

Curves and graduation

Each token starts on a Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve: the price rises as the curve sells tokens and falls as they are sold back.

  • Side B (entry curve): starts at 30 SOL market cap and graduates at 400 SOL market cap, after about 88.85 SOL has been raised.
  • Side A (rivalry curve): starts at 0.075 B per A (75.00M B market cap) and graduates at about 1 A = 1 B (1.00B B market cap), after about 222.15M B has been raised. Side A graduates at parity with side B.

When a curve is full it graduates to a Meteora DAMM v2 pool, seeded from the curve together with the tokens the curve kept for it. That liquidity is locked permanently: half of it earns LP fees for the protocol, half for the clash creator. After graduation the price trades freely on DAMM v2 and there is no curve anymore.

Market cap is price times supply. It is not money anyone can withdraw: what a sell actually returns depends on the liquidity in the pool, which each clash page shows.

Migration is permissionless. Meteora's keeper or the CLASHPAIR keeper moves a full curve; while it moves (usually seconds to minutes) that pool cannot trade, and the site says so.

Fees

  • Curve trading fee: 1% per trade, in the pool's quote token. In the first second after a pool opens it is 25% and it falls to 1% within 60 seconds, which makes sniping a new launch expensive.
  • Who gets it: Meteora keeps its protocol share of each fee. Of the rest, 50% goes to the clash creator and 50% to CLASHPAIR.
  • After graduation: the DAMM v2 pool charges 1% per trade, paid to its locked liquidity positions (protocol and creator), minus Meteora's share.
  • Routes through both pools (SOL to A, A to SOL) pay both pools' fees. Every quote lists each fee in its own token.
  • Network: Solana transaction fees and a priority fee, plus rent when a token account is opened for you (about 0.002 SOL each, refundable if you close it later).

There is no transfer tax, no reward or yield program and no token burn.

Quotes and slippage

A quote reads the live pools and shows what you pay, what you receive, the minimum you accept, each fee, the price impact and the route. It is valid for 20 seconds and refreshes itself. The transaction you sign enforces the minimum you receive (and, when you buy side A with SOL, the maximum SOL you pay); if the price moves beyond it, the transaction fails and nothing is traded.

Buying A with SOL buys an exact amount of B and spends all of it on A, so no B is left over. Selling A for SOL sells A for B, then sells a fixed amount of that B for SOL. The fixed amount sits half your slippage below the quoted B, so the trade still lands if the rivalry price moves against you by up to that much; the small rest of the B stays in your wallet, and the quote shows how much. When a curve would fill before your whole amount is used, only what completes it is spent and the rest stays in your wallet; the quote says so.

Charts and data

  • Source: an indexer reads every transaction of every clash pool from Solana and decodes Meteora's swap events. Each row keeps the transaction signature, the exact amounts in base units and the pool price right after the swap.
  • Candles: a candle opens at the pool price the previous swap left behind (the launch price for the first one), and its high, low and close are the prices after each swap in the interval. Intervals without swaps have no candle: nothing is carried forward, and no volume is made up.
  • Execution vs. pool price: the price you pay on a trade (shown in the quote) differs from the pool price after the trade (what the chart plots).
  • Graduation: the chart continues from the curve to the DAMM v2 pool of the same pair, marked on the chart. The migration starts the DAMM v2 pool at the curve's final price.
  • DEXTools: a tab shows the DEXTools widget for the rivalry pool, as a second view. New pools can take a while to appear there, and the widget does not load on localhost.
  • Dollars: USD values multiply the pool prices by SOL/USD from Pyth, with the publish time. Stale, zero or missing prices show as unavailable, never as a guess.
  • Freshness: each page says when the pools were last read and when the indexer last synced; when data stops, it says stale or disconnected instead of animating.
  • Time: every time on the site is UTC.

$CLASHPAIR token

NO TOKEN YET. There is no $CLASHPAIR token today and no official contract address. The team will deploy it manually; when it exists, its address appears on the front page (the Copy CA button, which says COMING SOON until then) and here.

Nothing on CLASHPAIR needs $CLASHPAIR to work, and no utility, reward or return is promised. Any address or site claiming to be $CLASHPAIR before it appears here is not official.

Programs and addresses

CLASHPAIR deploys no program (no smart contract) of its own. Every pool, swap, migration and fee claim runs on Meteora's programs on Solana mainnet:

These programs belong to Meteora: CLASHPAIR cannot change or upgrade them. They are open source; check each program page on Solscan for its current upgrade authority and verification status. Each clash's rivalry config is its own account, created by the clash creator at launch, with the CLASHPAIR fee claimer as partner. Configs are immutable once created.

Wallets and security

  • Every Solana wallet in your browser is detected (Wallet Standard wallets, and older wallets that inject a provider) and you choose which one to connect. The site remembers your choice and reconnects silently on the next page.
  • The server builds each transaction and your wallet shows it before you sign. The server only relays transactions it built for your session; it never holds your keys and asks for no token approvals.
  • Signing in (to edit your profile) signs a plain message with a one-time nonce. It sends no transaction and moves no funds.
  • The protocol wallets are controlled by the CLASHPAIR team through one master seed kept offline. They cannot touch your funds or any pool's liquidity.

Risks

  • Rivalry tokens are speculative. Their prices can fall to near zero, in SOL and in dollars, on both sides at once.
  • Markets can be quiet: a rivalry does not guarantee volume, and the chart does not have to swing either way.
  • Small pools mean large price impact. Check the impact and the minimum you receive before you sign.
  • Pools and tokens run on Meteora's programs; bugs or incidents there would affect them.
  • Nothing on this site is investment advice, a promise of profit, or a statement by any person or brand a token names.

FAQ

Does buying side A with SOL also move side B? Yes. The route buys B first on the entry pool, which raises B against SOL, and then spends that B on A.

Can the same side be reused in another clash? Not yet. Every clash launches two new tokens, so a CR7 in one clash is a different token from a CR7 in another, and the site labels each by its mint address.

Who can create a clash? Anyone with a Solana wallet, unless the team limits launches to admin wallets for a while; the create page says which.

Why is my trade refused with a price-moved error? The pool changed between your quote and your transaction beyond your slippage. Nothing was traded. Refresh the quote and try again.
